Macmillan Breast Reconstruction Clinical Nurse Specialist | Educator

I am an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist with a passion for breast reconstruction and patient education. Since qualifying as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2008, I have dedicated my career to surgical nursing at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, supporting complex microsurgical patients and advancing best practices in breast reconstruction care.

In my current role as a Macmillan Breast Reconstruction CNS (since 2011), I combine clinical expertise with patient-centred education, ensuring individuals receive compassionate, informed care throughout their reconstruction journey. I hold a BSc in Acute Clinical Practice (Cancer Pathway) and a PGCert in Medical Education, and I regularly contribute to professional development through teaching and speaking engagements at national breast meetings.

Beyond clinical practice, I am a qualified micropigmentation practitioner, founder and trustee of Restore, a breast reconstruction charity, and an active member of leading professional bodies including BRNN, BAPRAS, and ABS. My mission is to empower patients and healthcare professionals with knowledge, confidence, and support in breast reconstruction.
