Pam Golton

I started training in 2005 as a registered adult nurse with the University of Surrey and qualified DipHE in 2008. Having a special interest in surgical nursing I have been at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead since qualification and worked first on Canadian Wing and then the Step Down Unit (now called Enhanced Recovery Area). I gained my Clinical Nurse Specialist post in 2011 and completed my specialist degree (BSc) in Acute Clinical Practice (cancer pathway) in 2015 at the University of Brighton. I have completed the Principles of Breast Cancer Care module (at masters level 7) at the Royal Marsden School and regularly attend the London & Brighton Breast Meetings. I have previously taught on the post graduate degree module on the Burns & Plastics course on Breast Reconstruction.

I started volunteering at the show & tell events from the start and I have worked with Rebecca and the other Restore Trustees and volunteers from the beginning of Restore, the continued support these events provide ensure our patients make an informed and personal decision. It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated and enthusiastic group of people.
